P&G, your relationship and commitment to God and each other is a beautiful example for others to learn from. Thank you for sharing what has helped you communicate better while learning what works.
Enjoy each minute with Baby Boy Wardle, he is a miracle from God and will bring joy and happiness💕along with many sleepless nights 🥱😍
Graham and Paola, this was a most beautiful Divine Timing. We all have struggles in our lives, things that don't go the way we planned. How we face it and share and talk ,it all helps to get to the other side. So necessary!!. The two of you have certainly done a great job. As I have said before, you Graham and Paola are a beautiful, blessed couple. A precious new family, all in God's plan.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for a beautiful conversation! Congratulations and many blessings as you continue the parenting journey! I often describe that path as walking on smooth sand, and then the very next minute, walking on broken shells and then back to smooth sand. From the perspective of The Cross of Connection, it begins with your relationship with God, then within yourself, then with each other, and then with your beautiful son. That is how authentic connection can truly be embraced. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, remind yourself, “Parenting is about connection, not perfection.” (Blessing From Fear) I am so excited for both of you! What a gift you are both individually and together to your dear, precious son!! 🙏🩵
This was a very emotional experience for me. I really thought a lot about what you both said. Although I don't have a partner, I was able to relate in relationships with family and friends. I truly believe that men are more in tune than they have been in the past generations. I am so impressed with how in tune you both are and how wise you both are. You really are wise beyond your years. I totally understand about your privacy, so I thank you for sharing your news of becoming engaged and becoming parents. I wish you the very best in this new stage of your lives and am so very happy for you both. My sincerest congratulations on your engagement and the birth of your baby boy. Enjoy all the special moments of this time. Love to you both. 💖 💖 💖 🤗 🤗 🤗
Thank you Graham and Paola for sharing your innermost experience. The word Cesarean is not something anyone wants to hear, but when they hand that baby to you there is nothing more beautiful and precious than the life you created no matter how he came into this world. In these types of situations, it either tears a relationship a part or it brings you closer. Grow old keeping your communication open and never take each other for granted. God first, each other, then your children. Your child/ children will never fail if they see their parents love each other and have God first. Now go spend as much time as you can with that baby boy. There is no such thing as spoiling a child with love. ❤️
Great conversation between the two of you about navigating relationships. Thank you for sharing your happy news! I answered the QOTD on FB this morning which asked if we have any advice for new parents, so I'll just share my unsolicited insights here. (You're welcome - haha!) Stay calm, don't make unrealistic rules, stay flexible. Sleep when they sleep. Treasure the moments because they pass by quickly. Record those times in whatever way you prefer because you will forget what those days were like. Don't be afraid to ask for a break when feeling overwhelmed. Most of all, let them grow you into someone new because kids will change a lot of what you thought about being a parent before you had them. Congratulations on your beautiful blessing!
Congratulations to you both. A baby is the most wonderful gift God can give you. It lights up your life in so many ways. Children are a special blessing and grandchildren—no words to describe the love. So happy for your parents too. Have a wonderful life🙏❤️🎈
thank you graham & paola for being so vulnerable on this special podcast. keeping the line of communication open is a big key in a loving relationship. it’s not easy sharing your thoughts and feelings to so many people i admire you both for that. unfortunately most men in my generation are not like this. paola you look radiant after having a c-section babies have their own way of coming into the world and as long as you and your son were both ok and when you hold him all that stress disappears. i have no doubt that you and graham will teach your beautiful son how to shine his light into this world. he is a lucky little boy to have you both as his mom & dad. congratulations to you both🎈❤️
Congratulations, Paola and Graham, on the birth of your son. Children are a beautiful gift to love, cherish and enjoy. Thank you for your energy and thoughts on this interesting topic, not often talked about in such an in-depth, personal manner. Continued blessings on your journey!
Another great Divine Timing discussion. Congratulations on the birth of your new little baby boy. Your son is the luckiest boy in the world to have you as his amazing parents. The connection you both have with each other shines in your faces. Many blessings to you and your new little family.
Congratulations to both of you for the arrival of your lovely baby. May this new chapter be filled with tender moments, sweet hugs, and a love that grows stronger every day. ❤
Congratulations to you both on your engagement and the birth of your baby son Blessings to you. Graham, I know you have wanted to be a parent for a long time and you were blessed to have 2 great and loving parents that led by example You will be a great Dad and I know Paola will be a great Mom. Your son is one lucky little guy. Sending love to you both.
Graham Paola thank you for a wonderful Podcast. It really gave me some food for thought. And I’ll have to remember that suggestion for S.E.W. Paola you look beautiful. Congratulations on the Birth of your beautiful baby boy. And yes I couldn’t agree more that he is one lucky little boy to have parents to teach and guide him to be that little light in a wonderful world. Graham Paola these first few months will fly by take time saver every minute hour day with you little boy. Make memories and laugh all the time. So when he gets older he can say mom dad stop embarrassing me. Then say that’s what mom and dad’s do. Graham and Paola may God Bless each and every day that you are a family may God guide you both in every decision you both make and most of all continue to be joyful and happy. Congratulations again to the both of you.
A very special episode! Firstly, congratulations on the birth of your son. 🤗💕 Such wonderful news. Your son is blessed to have you both as parents. Living your lives with beautiful spirituallity and intentionality will create a loving environment for your son in which to grow, develop, and thrive knowing he is loved. My parents were wonderful, I believe in large part due to their intentionality to be good, loving partners and parents. You expressed your upset when your son didn't enter the world as you had hoped. Perhaps a way to reframe that, is gratitude the your son was born in a time and place where complex medical intervention was an option.
On a lighter note, when I was sharing with Chris about Paola feeling angry that things did not go as so carefully planned, he leaned forward, looked in my eyes and said ... "does that remind you of anyone?" ... yup, I like things to go my way!
I enjoyed your fart metaphor ... apt for many situations in our lives. Regarding thoughts on clearing the air in our relationships, years ago Chris and I used to lead a communication workshop for engaged couples. One section was called Fair Fighting. Tips included, right time right place, absolutely no absolutes (you always, you never), no shopping list of grievances, speak for yourself (when you ... I feel ...), and give each other the benefit of the doubt.
Chris and I just celebrated our 51st Valentine's Day together and we both feel more in love and more loved year by year. It hasn't been all sunshine and lollypops. I like to say, because its true, I've loved Chris every day of my like since I was 18 and most days I like him. Some days are hard, and those are often the greatest opportunities to clear the farts and deepen our relationship. Prayers and blessings to you both and your new son. God is good!

What a wonderful podcast, not only for the discussion but for the special announcement. I only wish that I had heard your words 30 years ago.

I think I goofed and replied to you Juli. Not sure how to fix it🙏❤️
No problem. Did you finally get it fixed?
Not sure how. I tried to copy and paste. I am crazy😂😂😂
Sometimes Substack is confusing. It is different on computer than on cell.
I sent a new one. Oh well❤️🎈🙏
What a wonderful live! I wish you, Graham and Paola, and this beautiful family that is being formed, many blessings from God and much happiness! ❤️🙏👶
